Nikon updates Entry level Camera to D3400

Nikon released its newest entry-level DX-format (APS-C) model, the Nikon D3400 is an incremental update of its predecessor, the D3300. Upgrades  include built-in Bluetooth connectivity, as well as more shots per charge — 1,200 versus 700 in the D3300; and a higher standard max ISO of 25,600.

pdp-snapbridge-logoThe Bluetooth connectivity allows wireless transfers of images to compatible phones and tablets (but does not do remote control of the camera) through Nikon SnapBridge software.

Resolution is unchanged from the D3300 at 24.2 megapixels, and as well the continuous shooting rate of 5 fps and the 1080 HD video capture capability.
