Aurora HDR 2018 for Mac and Windows is now available for pre-order

Aurora HDR 2018 for Mac and Windows is now available for pre-order

Aurora HDR 2018 Aurora HDR 2018 has a completely new and smarter algorithm for tone mapping single or multiple exposures that result in the most realistic starting image possible. When merging brackets, the algorithm analyzes each image separately, automatically detecting dark and light zones and adjusting the level of detail which will produce a very natural looking HDR image. With single image processing, the tone mapping algorithm brings out colors and enhances dark and light zones. Either way, this initial…

Nikon updates Entry level Camera to D3400

Nikon released its newest entry-level DX-format (APS-C) model, the Nikon D3400 is an incremental update of its predecessor, the D3300. Everyday Back Pack by Peak Design

Everyday Back Pack by Peak Design

Last Christmas I received from my kids a couple of items from Peak Design –  the do it all accessory Field Pouch, the Capture Pro Clip and the Capture Lens. These items are very useful and used them in June 2016 on my Photography trip to Iceland. The 3 simple items made hiking, lens changes and carrying the cameras a breeze, and having access to my cameras a breeze as well. Their products are amazing and very good build quality.  …

What back button focus does is it uses the AF-On button as your…

Card Readers and Memory Card Problems

Card Readers and Memory Card Problems

A few weeks ago I was doing a Photography Shoot for a Company and had to be onsite to take photos of some volunteer companies that were contributing to the project. I ended up taking some 90 or so shots. It was until a day later I got to look at them to process them for the customer. When I inserted the memory card into my card reader, my heart sunk, I got a normal response, no photos found. I…
